When we first stepped into the world of entertainment, our vision was to understand the diverse, vibrant tapestry of Indian cinema. We began our journey by financing and backing ambitious projects in the highly dynamic South Indian and Bhojpuri film industries. Those formative years were instrumental. They taught us the intricate mechanics of large-scale production, the heartbeat of mass-market appeal, and the sheer power of regional storytelling. We learned what it takes to entertain millions.
But our roots, and our hearts, have always belonged to Bengal.
With the launch of Astavinayak Films (AVF), we are bringing that pan-India commercial expertise back home to Kolkata. Our mission is to blend the rich, intellectual, and emotional depth of Bengali literature and culture with the high-production values and scale we mastered in other regional markets.
